Today we’ll tell you a bit more about the Senior Social, Concert Among the Trees, Avanti’s Family Night, Sunday Brunch, Special Areas and Breakfast With Santa. We need your help to coordinate these fabulous events.
Do you love interacting with Kids? Then Jingle Bell Junction may be the place for you! We are currently looking for volunteers to sign up to take part during the festival in our Children’s area. Today, we’ll tell you about the different areas in JBJ and how you can help.

Today we interview Jay Regennitter who is the co-chair of the Entertainment committee for the Festival.I first started working with the Baby Fold because of our family’s adoption. The Baby Fold served as our homestudy agency. We now work with Adoption Preservation Services to provide attachment and trauma therapy for our children. Because of all that we have received, it was easy to give back by accepting my position with the Festival of Trees.
I started serving after the 2010 Festival of Trees. My co-chair, Jeff Paxton, gave me a call and invited me to co-chair.
I serve as the co-chair of the Entertainment Committee.
I attended one Festival of Trees at the Interstate Center, and missed last year’s FOT, but I greatly appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into such an extraordinary event. I’m glad I get to be a part of it!
Today we talk with Amy Tasker Ponce who has spent a number of years volunteering in different areas for The Baby Fold and for the Festival. Most recently, she is serving on the Steering Committee in Celebrity Place.
“It would be a lot of fun to be a part of the designer group at the Festival of Trees, but I am not sure I can do this. I decorate at home all of the time, but I’m not a professional designer!“
Is this what you have been telling yourself? Don’t worry! Go with your first thought and sign up!
Every year new designers join the design team. You do not need to be a professional designer to participate. If you are not sure you know how, rest assured Jeffrey Alans can teach you!
Read MoreEach and every year, we hear someone say “I would love to be a part of Festival, but I’ve never been asked to help“. Well, consider this your official call to action!
