Today we interview Jay Regennitter who is the co-chair of the Entertainment committee for the Festival.
How/Why Did You First Get Involved with the Baby Fold and the Festival of Trees?
I first started working with the Baby Fold because of our family’s adoption. The Baby Fold served as our homestudy agency. We now work with Adoption Preservation Services to provide attachment and trauma therapy for our children. Because of all that we have received, it was easy to give back by accepting my position with the Festival of Trees.
When Did You First Start Volunteering for Festival of Trees?
I started serving after the 2010 Festival of Trees. My co-chair, Jeff Paxton, gave me a call and invited me to co-chair.
Tell Us About the Areas You Have Volunteered and About Your Experience
I serve as the co-chair of the Entertainment Committee.
What Is Your Favorite Part of the Festival?
I attended one Festival of Trees at the Interstate Center, and missed last year’s FOT, but I greatly appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into such an extraordinary event. I’m glad I get to be a part of it!
