The Baby Fold is pleased to announce that Ray and Carol Ropp will serve as the Honorary Chairs for the 21st annual Festival of Trees. Carol and Ray Ropp are owner of Ropp Jersey Farm in Normal, Illinois. A field trip favorite, Ropp Farm is an annual destination for Pre-K students to senior citizens. Carol Ropp, a retired teacher, has taught over 12,000 patrons young and old. Both Carol and Ray have been long-time supporters of The Baby Fold and the Festival of Trees.
“Our son, daughter and son-in-law were Baby Fold babies, so we are deeply indebted to The Baby Fold for enabling us to have a family,” stated Ray Ropp. “Carol and I consider it an honor and privilege to serve as co-chairmen of The Baby Fold Festival of Trees,” Ropp expressed.
“Our connection to the Ropp family goes back many years, but we also have a current partnership, stated Julie Payne, VP of Development and Public Relations. “Our vocational students from Hammitt School have been very successful working at Ropp Jersey Cheese. Now, we are working together on planning this year’s annual holiday event to benefit The Baby Fold.”
The Baby Fold also wishes to welcome the following new Festival Committee Chairs: Debi Grossman (Designer), Beth Marsh (Jingle Bell Junction), Arlene Hosea (Opening Night), Wendy Simonovic (Gift Card Grab), Jennifer McIntosh (Senior Day), Charlene Blary (Operations), Dale Whitwood (Operations), and Jim Grossman (Gift Shop) and Randi Barnard (Presentation).
